Swimming pool

Oreti village has an indoor solar-heated swimming pool for guests to enjoy, generally from October to April, depending on sunshine. The pool is open from 8am – 8pm- if the doors are closed just get a key from reception.

All children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Our lap pool is a great place to entertain the kids or do a few laps. Changing facilities are available, and towels are readily available from reception.

During the winter months, geothermal hot pools are available just 7 minutes from Oreti at Tokaanu Hot Pools.

Tennis court

Fancy a bit of a tennis tournament? Racquets are available from reception from 8 am to 8 pm. Floodlights are available if you’re playing after dusk.

Lake walk

Meander and explore our rustic track to the lake and discover the waterfall. A reasonable level of fitness and proper footwear are required for this adventure. Please explore, but do so at your own risk, and stay on the designated track.

We booked this place for just one night as it was the closest to the alpine crossing we were doing next morning. We arrived very late, it was already dark, and were greeted by a very friendly owner. The real surprise was in the morning when we woke up to a beautiful view from the window. We would have definitely stayed here for longer enjoying the restaurant, swimming pool and having drinks on the balcony.

Nice retreat with an awesome view to help unwind and ground yourself. Quick drive over to Turangi for supplies and you're set. Bit pricey, but I would love to come back again. Just remember to close the house up at dusk as the bugs here love the indoor lights.

We got married at Oreti earlier this month and I can not recommend Fleur and her team more highly. The view and food were amazing and no problem was too big for them to sort out - thank you so much for having us again! We will be up for many dinners and to reminisce.
